Attracting a woman is not what you think!

Every now and then I get a call from a friend, wanting to know,
"Hey John, got any pick up lines that work?"

For some reason, many guys think there are "secret sayings" that
somehow cause women to instantly be attracted to them.  Why this
is, I don’t know.  The truth, however, is not what you might think.

You see, the answer to the question is, "got any pick up lines that
work" is, "that depends."  Believe it or not it actually IS
possible to see an attractive woman, and use your words to create
attraction.

However, that does not mean going up to her and spouting a
rehearsed line thinking that, and that alone will get you where you
want to go.  Using pickup lines with the expectation the line
itself will create attraction is patently ridiculous.

But, if you see an attractive woman, and walk up to her with your
best naughty boy smile on your face, look her right in the eye, and
deliver a line in such a fashion that she "gets" the absurdity,
then your chances of creating attraction are good.

What you do next, though is vitally important.  When you she
laughs, you need to laugh along with her, so she understands you
both are laughing at a joke together.  Then, once the ice is
broken, you switch over to fun conversation and take the
interaction from there.

When you do this, it shows her several things.  One, you have the
courage to come talk to her.  Two, you have a quick wit, and can
make her laugh.  Three, you can laugh easily at yourself.  And
four, you have more facets to your personality than just the "fun
guy," when you switch over to a more serious subject.

So, can pick up lines be effective?  The answer is a surprising
yes, when you put them to use in the context I described.  But if
you use them like the average guy does, expecting the pick up line
to do all the work for you, you’ll just be another loser to her—and
the last thing any woman needs is another loser.

Use the line in the context of your personality, however, and
you’ll come across as very unique, and very different… a winner in
a land of losers.
