I might disagree with that a little bit. Reading the blog or article or book itself won't keep your date happy, but if it inspires a person to think , become more considerate and thoughtful, or plant ideas for activities in the mind than those are all good results.

Some people are just very unimaginative. A little reading and prompting can't hurt.

I think reading a book/blog/article is a good way to get new ideas for dates, and can be particularly helpful if you have been with the same person for a while. It can get somewhat boring doing the same thing repeatedly. That doesn't mean it will always make or keep your date happy, but it might be a good start.

I think that's what keeps some magazines in business, isn't it? Advice on relationships, sex and dating, and how to keep a date happy, are whole topics of some popular magazines. It takes effort to always be coming up with new and interesting things to do as a couple. When someone no longer makes an effort, things can go downhill pretty rapidly.

You are exactly right, Soulmateless. There are many women's magazines that have monthly stories on these topics. I can't tell you how many times I have seen magazine covers with stories inside that tell you how to spice up your sex life, how to please your man, etc. While these articles don't hold all the answers, they are definitely a good place to start.
