Belle, I believe things in life happen for a reason. That's not saying I believe in destiny, in which we have no power or say in what happens to us, but I do believe things go the way they are supposed to. Everything in life is a lesson. IMHO

I completely agree that things happen for a reason. I think it hurt at the time because I had invested so much time in the relationship. But I also think that I learned a lot about myself and what to look for in a future mate, so in the end I did benefit.
