Everyone's definition of "prude" and "kinky" are different. I think it has much to do with our environment, as in the way we are raised. If you are allowed to run around naked as a child I think you become more naturally in tune about the body, and vice versa.
I'm not sure how people learn about kinky things. Maybe if early relationships have kinks in them, then that becomes 'normal'.
This thought needs more work. Help me out here people.

I agree that it has a lot to do with the way we are raised. I have a friend whose family was always walking around partly naked, and she recently got, shall we say, a very private piercing. I'm not sure how people learn about kinky things; maybe it's something they see or read about, or maybe it's something they learn while in a relationship.
