Trai la Trash may be
known for her big hair and her over the top style, but it’s her talent and
charisma that steals the show. Professionally trained in voice and acting,
she’s made her way across the country as a star quality performer.
Trai la
has graced the cabaret circuit with her solo shows’ like “So
Over The Rainbow” at NYC Duplex Cabaret. She appeared in HBO’s
Angles in America with Meryl Streep and Emma Thompson. Her role
in the revival of Mae West’s “The Pleasure Man” drew mention in
New York and Out Magazine.
Michael Musto of the
Village Voice highlighted her hostess abilities for the Crap party at New
York’s Club “Guernica”. Trai’s signing talents have helped raise hundreds
of thousands dollars for charities all over the country.
But it’s not all
work and no play. Ms. Trash has added glamour to high-profile partied from
Coast to Coast. She has shared the spotlight with the amazing talent of
“Dream Girl” Jennifer Holiday, Deborah Cox and Martha Wash. Worked with
celebrities Liev Schriber and “Golden Girl’ Rue McClanahan and painted the
town with television and Broadway Star Delta Burke and interviewed Janice
Dickenson, in front of a crowd of adoring fans, at her latest book release
party at New York’s famed Splash Bar.
Her face and name
have graced the television screen on HBO, CNN, Good Morning America and
VH1, as well as the pages of People, The National Enquirer, OUT, Advocate,
New York Magazine, and the Village Voice. She currently writes a nightlife
column in the New York Blade that promotes our great community.
